Renderings Revealed For Next Phase Of Lincoln Yards

Updated details have been revealed for one of the next phases of the Lincoln Yards mega-development near Goose Island. As work wrapped up on Ally at 1229 W Concord late last year, developer Sterling Bay has shifted its originally announced phasing plan on the HPA and Gensler designed proposal. The change is most likely due to a changing economy and thus brings the two mixed-use structures at the D2 and D3 riverfront parcels just north of Ally to the forefront. Facade Nears Completion for 1012 W Addison Street in Lake View

Many of the I-beam exterior pieces have now been installed along 1012 W Addison Street, a new three-story sportsbook betting addition to Wrigley Field in Lake View. The Chicago Cubs and Marquee Development are spearheading an extension to the iconic stadium oriented around sports betting, whose ban in the city was recently lifted. Owing to this new ordinance, the five major sports stadiums in the city have now facilitated their own betting operations.

Committee On Design Reviews 370-401 N Morgan in Fulton Market

The committee on design is now reviewing two mixed-use high rises at 370 N Morgan Street and 400 N Morgan Street in West Loop‘s Fulton Market. Located on the west side of the intersection with W Kinzie Street, the multi-phase project will eventually see a third tower join it at 401 N Morgan Street on the northeast corner. The three towers are being developed by Vista Properties, whose plans will replace what is currently a mix of surface lots and existing one- to two-story industrial buildings just north of the Metra tracks. Gensler is responsible for the designs.

360 N Green Street Secures Sixth Place in Construction Countdown

Chicago’s sixth tallest tower under construction is 360 N Green Street, a 24-story primarily office tower in Fulton Market. Planned by Sterling Bay and poised to stand 399 feet, the building will be one of the tallest to the west of the Kennedy Expressway. The base portion has seen significant progress in the last few months, with both the core and structural pieces already filling out much of the base section.
