Located just south of the intersection with E 16th Street, we covered the project in January as crews began foundation and piling work. The proposal is being led by CMK Companies with local architecture firm Pappageorge Haymes working on its design and Clark Construction on its execution.

This mixed-use development by CMK Companies, replacing a vacant lot directly east of the CTA tracks, will feature 149 rental units above ground-floor retail. A permit for the foundation and partial superstructure was issued in late October, followed by the issuance of the full permit in early December.

Under development by CMK Companies, the 13-story residential building will provide 149 apartment units and a parking garage with capacity for 98 vehicles.
