Construction Begins for 360 N Green Street in Fulton Market District

Construction has begun for a 24-story mixed-use tower at 360 N Green Street in Fulton Market District. The 399-foot high rise developed by Sterling Bay will feature two retail spaces spanning a total of 5,400 square feet, along with offices as the primary programming. This project is set to replace a former vacant lot at the northeast corner of the rapidly developing neighborhood. Nearly 100 feet taller than adjacent projects like 333 N Green Street and 800 W Fulton Market, 360 N Green Street will add a dramatic presence to the emerging West Loop skyline.

345 N Morgan Wraps Up Exterior in Fulton Market District

Final glass and brick installation is visible at Sterling Bay’s 345 N Morgan Street, an 11-story mixed-use building in Fulton Market District. This latest edifice to be added to the rapidly densifying neighborhood will provide a combination of ground-level retail topped by offices above. Despite its relatively low floor count, the high rise will compete in height with some of the other nearby projects at a height of 178 feet.

ALLY at 1229 W Concord Gets Glassy in Lincoln Yards

Structural Work Rises Above Grade for 160 N Morgan Street in Fulton Market District

Structural work is now above grade for a 30-story apartment building just north of Morgan & Randolph in West Loop’s Fulton Market District. Residing under the address 160 N Morgan Street, this development by Sterling Bay and Ascentris will be one of the tallest towers west of the Kennedy Expressway at a height of 350 feet. Programming will include 282 rental apartments atop two levels of retail within its podium.

Second Tower Design Revealed for 1300 W Carroll Site in Fulton Market

Developer Sterling Bay has revealed the design for the second tower on its 1300 W Carroll Avenue project site, formerly the site of the Archer Daniels Wheat Mill in West Loop’s Fulton Market District. The rendering has been presented on the marketing website for 1200 W Carroll Avenue, a 14-story office building that Sterling Bay plans to construct first just one block to the east.

Groundbreakings Announced For Two Fulton Market Projects

Potential groundbreaking have been announced for two Fulton Market projects after securing the land sale and anchor tenants this week. The two projects in question are the life sciences building at 400 N Elizabeth Street and the office building at 360 N Green Street, each led by different developers but delivering similar amounts of leasable space at each end of the quickly growing neighborhood. All together they will bring roughly 1 million square feet of new commercial space in an area poaching new leases at a faster rate than most.

Updated details have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 350 N Morgan Street in Fulton Market. With new leases being signed and projects being revealed weekly, the building will be located on the intersection with W Carroll Avenue directly across the street from the quickly growing 345 N Morgan Street and from the Google Midwest headquarters. Developer Sterling Bay has tweaked the design with information being recently updated on their website for the Skidmore Owings & Merrill-designed structure.

Brickwork and glass installation is now nearing the top of 345 N Morgan Street, an 11-story mixed-use development in West Loop’s Fulton Market district. Under development by Sterling Bay, the 200,000 square feet of programming includes ground-floor retail and offices on the above floors.

ALLY at 1229 W Concord Place Tops Out at Lincoln Yards

Structural work has topped out for the eight-story life sciences center known as ALLY at 1229 W Concord Place. This 320,000 square-foot development by Sterling Bay is the first phase of the gargantuan Lincoln Yards master plan, which will ultimately span 55 acres along Chicago’s North Branch Corridor.

City Council Approves New High-Rises In Fulton Market

The Chicago City Council has approved the rezoning for two new high-rises in Fulton Market. The projects are located on opposite ends of the district, with the residential-based 1353 W Fulton Street anchoring the west end of the growing area and 360 N Green Street continuing the string of commercial mixed-use properties along Green Street on the eastern end of the neighborhood. Both towers recently received Plan Commission approval as well.
