MBZ Properties LLC is the listed owner, with previously issued permits indicating a three-story building with two apartment units and a basement on each lot. Parking for 919 S Aberdeen Street will include a concrete pad with two spaces, while the filing description for 917 S Aberdeen Street did not mention any on-site parking.

Structural Work Tops Out for 300 W Division Street in Old Town

Structural work is now topped out with cladding nearing completion for 300 W Division Street, a seven-story mixed-use building at the southern edge of Old Town. The Domain Group is behind the development, whose plans comprise of retail space at ground level, and 89 apartments above. These units will be split with 65 one-bedrooms and the remaining 24 residences as studios. Ground-level parking will also be included, although the number of parking spaces is currently unknown.

Permits Issued for 2044 W Rice Street in Ukrainian Village

Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building set for 2044 W Rice Street in West Town‘s Ukrainian Village. Filed under Alverna Group LLC, the new development will feature two total residences, a basement, rooftop deck, and a two-car garage with its own separate rooftop deck. The new structure is set to replace a two-story gabled masonry residence and a detached garage.

Permits Issued for 919 S Aberdeen Street in Little Italy

MBZ Properties LLC is the filing owner, whose plans include two total units, as well as parking for two cars on an exterior parking slab. Currently, the site is occupied by a two-story detached frame residence with a smaller two-story frame enclosure in the rear.

Construction permits have been issued for a single-story car wash facility at 4259 S Wells Street in Fuller Park. The owner is Chicago Title Land Trust, whose new commercial development lies on a plot of land that was re-zoned in 2013 from B3-1 Community Shopping Zoning District to Cl-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District. YIMBY covered a planned two-story mixed-used building last week that also resides on the re-designated area.

The filing owner, listed as Chicago Title Land Trust, plans retail space on the ground floor, with one residential unit above. The new structure is set to replace a currently vacant lot, that was re-designated from B3-1 (Community Shopping District) to Cl-1 (Neighborhood Commercial District) in 2013.

Construction Nearly Complete for Five-Story Mixed-Use Addition at Chinatown’s 2353 S Wentworth Avenue

Photos show the near-complete construction of a five-story addition to an existing two-story building, located at 2353 S Wentworth Avenue in Chinatown. The project owner and developer, ME Wentworth LLC led by Che Mei Wong, has renovated the original two-story retail structure, while adding 149 rooms in a new four-floor hotel portion. An additional seventh-floor residential component appears to be in the works, which will include a single 3,000-square-foot penthouse unit.

Recent photos show rapid progress on window installation and masonry cladding for a seven-story mixed-use building located at 300 W Division Street in Near North Side. The developer The Domain Group has planned retail space on the ground floor, with 89 total apartments above. Of the units, 65 will be single bedrooms, while the remaining 24 will be studio apartments. A parking garage will also be integrated into the rear end of the structure, though the exact number of spaces is not currently known.
