Construction is now underway on a new six-story mixed-use building at 613 N Ogden Avenue in West Town. Planned by Urban Edge Group, the building will include nine apartment spaces above ground-level retail. There will also be 11 parking spaces housed within a garage in its base, as well as an elevator.
Permits were issued on Thursday for a three-story residential building located at 4900 N Kenmore Avenue in Uptown. Permits for the development were issued to Variable Properties LLC, and will involve seven dwelling units with balconies, a basement, a shared rooftop deck, and two detached one-story masonry garages. The first garage will house five parking spaces and will have its own rooftop deck. The second garage will offer two additional spaces. The lot is currently vacant.
The Chicago City Council has approved the adaptive reuse of the All Saints St. Anthony Church at 518 W 28th Place in Bridgeport. Located on the corner with S Wallace Street, the multi-building complex will see new life as a child and adult daycare facility led by developer T2 Opportunity Fund LLC with Vari Architects LTD serving as the designers of the new interior spaces.
