A new three-story, two-unit residential building has received permits at 1448 W Flournoy Street in Little Italy. The filing also calls for the main structure to be accompanied by a detached two-car garage with a rooftop deck.
The owner of the project, Baoliang Song, is also operating under Song Development as the general contractor for the construction. The design of the building, for which Vari Architects is architect of record, has not yet been revealed.
For public transit, the nearest CTA Blue Line access is available via a six-minute walk northeast to Racine station, while the Pink Line at Polk station is a nine-minute walk southwest. Meanwhile, nearest bus service consists of Routes 7, 9, X9, and 126, all of which are within a five-minute walk.
With the permit valuing the reported cost at $250,000, a completion timeline has not yet been indicated.
