The Chicago City Council has approved $2.5 million in Tax Incremental Financing money for a mixed-use development located at 3557 W Lawrence Avenue in Albany Park. Located on the intersection of W Lawrence Avenue and N Central Park Avenue, the corner site is currently an unused vacant lot. Celadon Holdings is the developer behind the proposal.
New renderings have been revealed for 609 W Randolph Street, the topped-out mixed-use high rise in Chicago’s West Loop Gate neighborhood. Rising 15 stories and 211 feet, the new construction will incorporate a pre-existing four-story masonry building built in the late 19th century.
Construction has topped out for 609 W Randolph Street, a 15-story mixed-use development near the heart of West Loop Gate. Planned by Vista Property Group and spanning over 100,000 feet, the 211-foot-tall tower is set to house 1,770 square feet of ground-level retail and office use on the remaining 14 floors. The base of the project will also restore and integrate a late 19th-century masonry building, while the new construction will replace a former parking lot.

Vista Property Group is the developer for the more than 100,000-square-foot project, which will house 1,770 square feet of retail on the first story and office space on the upper floors. The new structure will replace a former parking lot while integrating with a neighboring four-story masonry building that was built in the 1890s.
