Located on the intersection with N Larrabee Street, the proposal is the first phase of redeveloping a long-term vacant lot owned by the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA). The project is being led by developer BDM-I LLC made up of Brinshore & The Michaels Development Corporation.
Construction appears to have halted at 1630 S Wabash Avenue in the South Loop. Located just south of the intersection with E 16th Street, we covered the project in January as crews began foundation and piling work. The proposal is being led by CMK Companies with local architecture firm Pappageorge Haymes working on its design and Clark Construction on its execution.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 3955 N Kilpatrick Avenue in Old Irving Park. Located near the six-corner intersection with W Irving Park Road and N Milwaukee Avenue, we covered updates to the design earlier this year as it submitted its plan application. The project is being led by developer GW Properties.
In Humboldt Park, facade work is nearing completion for the new Pedro Albizu Campos Apartments, situated at 1203 N California Avenue. This nine-story affordable housing development, a collaborative effort between Pappageorge Haymes and the Hispanic Housing Development Corporation (HHDC), occupies a previously vacant lot and encompasses a total area of 83,000 square feet.
Further details have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 3955 N Kilpatrick Avenue in Old Irving Park as it heads to the Plan Commission this month.
