Exterior work is rapidly approaching the finish line for a three-story mixed-use commercial redevelopment project at Fulton Market‘s 932 W Randolph Street. As part of the redevelopment, developer L3 Capital is re-skinning the former bank building and adding a new three-story addition at the northern end of the property.
Structural work can be seen rising at West Loop‘s 1371 W Randolph Street, where the Plumbers Local Union 130 and the Chicago Title & Trust Company have planned a new parking and retail structure. The new seven-story development will encompass the latest addition to the union’s campus, which is bound by Randolph and Ada Streets, and Washington Boulevard. Parking will provide 502 new spaces and slots for 36 bikes, as well as the additional commercial space that will include a terrace on the third floor.
Facade progress is rapidly taking shape for 932 W Randolph Street, a redevelopment of a former three-story bank in West Loop‘s Fulton Market. The development involves the re-skin of the existing structure, and a new three-level connected addition that will take on the same design. L3 Capital is the developer behind the 35,000-square-foot project, whose programming will be entirely commercial. Recent reports have confirmed that a new showroom for the electric carmaker Rivian will occupy the building. Last year, L3 Capital received approval to convert the existing zoning designation of the property from C1-2 neighborhood commercial district to DX-5 mixed-use district.
