Developed by Optima Inc, the development will house 14,000 square feet of retail at ground level, with 198 apartment units above. Apartments range in size from one- to three-bedrooms residences, and average at 1,053 square feet.
Construction is nearing completion for a four-story commercial building, located at 1111 W Addison Street in Lake View‘s Wrigleyville. The project, planned by West Addison Development, is set to contain retail on the ground floor with a climbing and bouldering center above. A separate permit indicated that the developer will build out six climbing walls within the second through fourth floors.
Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building located at 1146 W Newport Avenue in Lake View. Filed under the owner Owenbrin LLC, the project will include three residential units with a basement and three-car garage. The filing explicitly mentions that there will be no rooftop deck.
Full construction permits were issued last week for the conversion of a five-story parking garage into a seven-story mixed-use building, filed under the address 3121 N Broadway in Lake View. The owner, 3115 Properties LLC, is planning 72 apartments, seven of which will be affordable. Additional programming will consist of ground-level retail, 56 on-site parking spaces, and a rooftop terrace and enclosure. With the two added floors, the building will stand just under 83 feet in height.
