Shapack Partners has received a demolition permit clearing the way for a 29-story mixed-use development at 1353 W Fulton Street. The tower, set to be constructed near the western edge of Fulton Market, will take the place of the current single-story building at 224 N Ada Street. Programming will yield 308 residential units, ground-floor retail, and both resident- and public-facing amenity spaces.
A demolition permit was issued on Monday for a two-story frame multi-unit residence along with a detached frame garage located at 1534 W Melrose Street in the Lake View neighborhood. As of this writing, no permits have been filed for a future build.

LG Development Group has planned for 414 apartment units atop 10,500 square feet of retail. Currently, the site is occupied by a series of low-rise brick buildings. One of these structures, the historic Arthur Harris Building, will only be partially demolished then integrated into the new design.
A demolition permit has been issued for the removal of an eight-story masonry building located at 4155 S Packers Avenue in the New City neighborhood. The permit’s owner has been listed as JEHM Financial LLC.
