P O’Connell Construction LLC got a permit on May 13 to erect a three-story plus basement, three-unit building here with a reported cost of $925,000. The permit had been pending in the city’s data portal since January 7.

JAB Real Estate is the recipient of the permit, filed under the address of 1221 West Belmont, as both the developer and the builder. Issued on May 4, the permit shows a reported cost of $1.1 million and an application start date of March 24, a duration of just 41 days.
A new construction permit was issued by the City of Chicago on March 30 to replace a drive-thru bank at 3600 North Southport Avenue in Lake View with a residential building. Derrig Management is the recipient of the permit, which had been pending in the Chicago Data Portal since October 29 of last year. It came through with a reported cost of six million dollars.
