On the way is a four-story with partial basement, nine-unit residential development from Pro Homes Incorporated of Summit, IL.

New construction and demolition permits were issued two days apart last week for the property at 3909 North Ashland Avenue in Lake View. Permission to tear down a vacant two-story building on the site came through the portal on September 23, with Carlos Group assigned to the job at a reported cost of $20,000. Two days earlier, new construction was permitted after a 67-day wait in the data portal. Its reported cost is $2.4 million.

A new construction permit issued for 917 West Fletcher Street on September 21 means an 1894-built Lake View home currently occupying the lot will be demolished. Promised Land Development closed the property under an LLC in August for $1.15 million after filing an application to build new on August 5, waiting 47 days for the permit to come through. It includes a reported cost of $1.2 million.

A construction permit was issued by the City of Chicago on September 4 to replace a Lake View single-family home sold in July with two new dwelling units. The permit was issued 37 days after its application start date of July 29 and includes a reported cost of $752,250. The entity of 1438 W Henderson LLC is named as the property owner.
