Concrete is in the ground for Kensington School West Loop
Foundation work is underway at 1220 West Adams Street for the Kensington School West Loop. Having received a new construction permit from the City of Chicago on August 26, general contractor Charles Hall Construction has begun ground-level work with a hand from Taylor Excavation. The permit calls for a three-story building with an unspecified number off-street parking spaces. The new school replaces a former Boy Scouts of America office building and retail shop, which was demolished this spring.
