A new construction permit was issued by the City of Chicago to get work started on August 21, 2022, with general contractor Summit Design + Build finally able to break ground this past winter after starting site prep in the fall.

Foundation Work For 537 West Drummond Is Underway in Lincoln Park

Foundation work is underway at 537 West Drummond Place in Lincoln Park for a new residential development. General contractor Summit Design + Build has taken over the site, and dirt is being dug up and push around on what used to serve as a parking lot for the USPS facility next door. Soon, construction will begin on a seven-story, 84-unit building from developer Moyer Properties.

Construction Permit Issued for 921 N Noble Street in Noble Square

A full construction permit has been issued for 921 N Noble Street, part of the larger St. Boniface Redevelopment initiative in Noble Square. ZSD Corp and Stas Development are co-developing this four-story mixed-use structure, which will be located directly north of the St. Boniface church, originally constructed in 1904. While initial plans for 921 N Noble Street projected a two-story building and subsequent documents proposed a three-story development, the most recent architectural drawings and permit description have confirmed four stories.
