Three concrete columns are rising at 537 West Drummond Place in Lincoln Park, as construction progress goes 3-D on a residential development from Moyer Properties. A new construction permit was issued by the City of Chicago to get work started on August 21, 2022, with general contractor Summit Design + Build finally able to break ground this past winter after starting site prep in the fall.

Tucked in behind the recently renovated Hotel Covent on the 2600 block of North Clark Street, the seven-story, 84-unit building is replacing a surface parking lot utilized by the United States Postal Service facility next door.
