Residential conversion of St. Boniface Church continues in Noble Square

The conversion of St. Boniface Church to a residential development continues at 1356 W Chestnut Street in Noble Square, West Town. ZSD Corp is the developer and general contractor responsible for resurrecting the church and transforming it into new homes as part of a two-phase redevelopment. The church is Phase 1. Phase 2, located immediately east of the church is also underway, under the moniker The Residences at St. Boniface.

Construction continues on the first phase of the residential conversion of the St. Boniface Church at 1356 W Chestnut Street in Noble Square. Located on the corner with N Noble Street across the street from the park, we recently covered new renderings for the upcoming second phase of the overall proposal. Now we check in on the progress of the project being developed by ZSD Corp and designed by SPACE Architects + Planners.

Construction Permit Issued for 921 N Noble Street in Noble Square

A full construction permit has been issued for 921 N Noble Street, part of the larger St. Boniface Redevelopment initiative in Noble Square. ZSD Corp and Stas Development are co-developing this four-story mixed-use structure, which will be located directly north of the St. Boniface church, originally constructed in 1904. While initial plans for 921 N Noble Street projected a two-story building and subsequent documents proposed a three-story development, the most recent architectural drawings and permit description have confirmed four stories.
