Core work has fully topped out for the 52-story, 727-foot-tall office tower at 320 S Canal Street in West Loop Gate.
Construction has reached the 800-foot-tall mark for the east tower at One Chicago Square, a 2.2 million-square-foot megadevelopment in the northeast corner of River North. Planned by JDL and Sterling Bay, the project involves a pair of 49- and 74-story skyscrapers rising 574 and 971 feet in height, respectively, the latter of which will be Chicago’s eighth tallest building upon its completion.
Structural work has reached the second setback for 320 S Canal Street, aka BMO Tower, a 50-story office skyscraper located in West Loop Gate. Planned by Riverside Investment & Development and Convexity Properties, the 727-foot-tall tower will establish a prominent new peak in downtown’s southwest corner. The development will support 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space, along with features such as floor-to-ceiling windows, finished ceiling heights reaching up to 12 feet, and private terraces on select floors.
Structural work is nearly two-thirds complete on the 74- and 49-story towers that comprise JDL‘s massive One Chicago Square mixed-use development, located near the northeast corner of River North. Set to reach 971 and 574 feet to their respective pinnacles, the taller eastern tower takes third place in Chicago YIMBY’s end-of-year development countdown.
Construction is now complete for 110 N Wacker Drive, aka Bank of America Tower, a 56-story office skyscraper located in The Loop. The 817-foot-tall edifice secures spot number six in Chicago YIMBY’s year-end countdown of tallest new developments.
