700 W Chicago To Be Reviewed By Committee On Zoning

The Chicago City Council has approved tThref=”https://chicagoyimby.com/category/building/mixed-use”>mixed-use development at 700 W Chicago Avenue in River West will be reviewed by the Committee on Zoning. Located on the intersection with N Halsted Street and replacing a massive Chicago Tribune facility, the proposal is the second attempt to develop the site across the street from the upcoming casino. This attempt is being led by Canadian-based developer Onni Group who tapped Goettsch Partners for its design.

Coppia Approaches Full Height in West Loop

The 19-story development at 1101 W Van Buren Street, named Coppia is nearing its full height in West Loop. Located between two pre-existing residential towers, Coppia fills a previously unoccupied space in the area. The mixed-use project by Pizzuti Development plans to offer 298 apartment units, ranging from studio designs to three-bedroom layouts, with penthouses occupying the top two levels. The podium will contain space for commercial use, along with an 82-car garage.

Plans Submitted for Four-Tower Megadevelopment by Onni in River West

Onni Group has filed a zoning application for a massive new development at 700 W Chicago Avenue in the River West neighborhood of Chicago, just across the river from the recently approved Halsted Pointe. The project will comprise four mixed-use skyscrapers of varying heights: 44-story, 56-story, 51-story, and 57-story towers. The design for this multi-phase project is the work of Goettsch Partners.
