Initial permits have been issued for 3035 N Sheffield Avenue in Lake View where a condominium development is planned. The permit lists North South Ventures LLC as the owners. The property site is situated north of W Wellington Avenue and is currently occupied by a single-family home.
Foundation work is ramping up for a planned seven-story development at 812 W Adams Street in West Loop. Developer Luxe Suites Chicago LLC has planned for a mixed-use scheme with 80 rental units and 4,200 square feet of retail. The project will replace a trio of low-rise buildings along the southernmost segment of the block.
A small-scale condominium development is planned for Lake View. The project has been proposed by Property People LLC and will be located at 3035 N Sheffield Avenue, just north of W Wellington Avenue and the Wellington station for the CTA Brown Line. A single-family home currently occupies the lot.

This past week, plans were disclosed for a new eight-story mixed-use building proposed for 629 W Lake Street in West Loop Gate. The project will be located at the corner of Lake & Desplaines, and will replace the Fast Track restaurant that currently occupies the site. Based on information provided by the office of Alderman Reilly, the developer behind the proposal has not yet been mentioned.
