A ribbon cutting has been held for the new Cultivate Collective community hub at 4942 W 44th Street in Garfield Ridge. Located just west of the intersection with S Cicero Avenue, the development replaced a vacant lot that was once part of the LeClaire Courts housing complex. The project itself was developed by Cultivate Collective who worked with the Academy for Global Citizenship and Greater Southwest Development Corp.
The 24-story mixed-use building at 360 N Green Street has nearly finalized its exterior facade. Situated near the east end of Fulton Market, this 500,000-square-foot structure is being developed by Sterling Bay. Once completed, it will house office spaces, 5,400 square feet of retail, and various tenant amenities. Boston Consulting Group will occupy 250,000 square feet as the primary tenant. Among the amenities, the building will feature a rooftop terrace, fitness center, conference facilities, bicycle storage, and a lobby lounge.
The Chicago City Council has approved the mixed-use development at 370-401 N Morgan Street in the West Loop. centered around the intersection with W Kinzie Street, the three-tower proposal will replace a handful of existing buildings near the railroad tracks. Developer Vista Property is moving forward with gathering all necessary approvals for the Gensler-designed project which received Plan Commission approval earlier this year.
Renovation work can be seen progressing at the Webster Place shopping center in Lincoln Park, signaling the tenant build-out for Advocate Health Care. The prominent Chicago-area health system plans to replace a Barnes & Noble with the new 41,000-square-foot outpatient facility in the 1435-71 W Webster Avenue complex.
The full construction permit has now been granted for the residential development at 1723 S Michigan Avenue in South Loop, moving the project beyond its initial foundation approval. Owned by 1725 S. Michigan Development Corporation, the development will feature a 13-story building with 149 residential units and a parking garage offering 98 spaces.
