Renderings have been revealed for the renovation of Clarendon Community Center at 4501 N Clarendon Avenue in Uptown. Located in Clarendon Park, the community center is located at the intersection of N Clarendon Avenue and W Sunnyside Avenue. Chicago Park District is leading the development.
A federal review has completed, paving the way for construction to begin on the Obama Presidential Center in 2021. Planned to span a parcel of land inside Jackson Park, the complex will be located between S Stony Island Avenue and S Cornell Drive, from E 59th Street to E 62nd Street.

Located at 920 W Cullerton Street, the building is the second of two old warehouses to be transformed into Class-A office space. The site for the two buildings is bound by W 19th Street to the north, S Sangamon Street to the west, W Cullerton Street to the south, and adjacent buildings to the east, with S Peoria Street enclosing the full block.

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the renovation of Heiwa Terrace, an affordable senior housing complex in Uptown. Located at 920 W Lawrence Avenue, the project site is at the intersection of W Lawrence Avenue and N Sheridan Road. The Lawrence CTA L station, serviced by the Red Line, is within a six-minute walk away. Both the 81 and 151 CTA bus routes are accessible at the Sheridan and Lawrence stop, located directly adjacent to the site.
