Further Details Revealed For New Tower At 1565 N Clybourn Avenue In Near North Side

Further details have been revealed for the new mixed-use development at 1565 N Clybourn Avenue in the Near North Side. Located on the northeastern corner of the intersection with N Halsted Street, news on the high-rise broke last week as a community meeting was announced by Alderman Brian Hopkins. The meeting brought new information on the The Georgetown Company-led development which is being designed by bKL Architecture.

The Dylan Completes in Fulton Market

The Dylan, a 30-story mixed-use development at 160 North Morgan Street in Fulton Market, has completed construction and is now welcoming its first residents. The 350-foot high rise, a collaboration between Sterling Bay and Ascentris, offers a total of 282 rental apartments atop 2,657 square feet of ground-level retail.

Rendering Revealed For 1100 W Grand Avenue In West Town

A rendering has been revealed for the recently approved mixed-use development at 1100 W Grand Avenue in West Town. Located just east of the intersection with W May street and south of the I-90 W Ohio Street exit loop, the new project will replace a car shop and its adjacent parking lot currently on the site. Led by Wildwood Investments and Sterling Bay, the new building is being designed by bKL Architecture.

Zoning Board of Appeals Approves 1100 W Grand Avenue in West Town

The Zoning Board of Appeals has granted several variances for the mixed-use development at 1100 W Grand Avenue, a project led by Wildwood Investments and Sterling Bay, set to rise in West Town. The seven-story structure will house 99 residential units with varied floor plans, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units, alongside a 1,500 square-foot retail space on the ground floor.

Plans For Bank Redevelopment In Woodlawn Move Forward

Plans for the mixed-use redevelopment at 6300 S Cottage Grove Avenue in Woodlawn are set to be reviewed at this month’s zoning meeting. Located on the intersection with E 63rd Street, the project will restore and expand the old Washington Park National Park Bank building at the heart of the neighborhood. This work is being led by developer DL3 Realty who tapped local firm bKL Architecture for its design.

City Council Approves 1300 W Lake Street in West Loop

The Chicago City Council has approved the 46-story mixed-use skyscraper at 1300 W Lake Street in Fulton Market. Located at the northwest corner with N Elizabeth Street, the project was initially revealed in March of this year and subsequently reviewed by the Committee on Design. Loukas Development has now received approval for the slightly redesigned tower from bKL Architecture.

Ceiling Art Spotted at The Dylan in Fulton Market

Ceiling mural artwork designed by Emmy Star Brown (@emmystarbrown) has been spotted along the underside of The Dylan, a 30-story mixed-use tower at 160 N Morgan Street in Fulton Market. The project, a collaboration between Sterling Bay and Ascentris, topped out at its 350-foot height earlier this year. The plan is for 282 rental apartments above a 2,657 square-foot retail space.

Plan Commission Approves Tower At 1300 W Lake Street In West Loop

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 1300 W Lake Street in the West Loop. Located on the northwest corner with N Elizabeth Street in the growing west end of the neighborhood, the proposal was first revealed in March of this year before going in front of the Committee on Design. Now Loukas Development receives another approval for the slightly redesigned tower from bKL Architecture.

Updated Plans Unveiled for 1300 W Lake Street in Fulton Market Market

In collaboration with bKL Architecture, Loukas Development has unveiled a renewed design for the proposed skyscraper at 1300 W Lake Street. The mixed-use structure, a 46-story tower planned for the western portion of Fulton Market, will now stand 537 feet, slightly taller than the original 530-foot proposal.
