A permit was issued February 13 by the City of Chicago to allow the owner of a three-unit residence at 2421 West Lexington Street in Tri-Taylor to add a fourth unit. The three-story building has a basement level, so it’s natural to assume the Additional Dwelling Unit will be built downstairs, but the permit does not specify that. RY National, Inc is named as the general contractor, with the permit indicating a cost of $50,000 for work performed.
