Final facade work can be seen at 609 W Randolph Street, where Vista Property Group has planned a new dual-building mixed-use development. The assemblage consists of a renovated five-story masonry building, connected to a new 15-story tower in West Loop Gate. The footprint of the tower portion was previously occupied by a vacant parking lot.
Caisson permits have been issued for a new five-story mixed-income residential development, located at 1858 S Racine Avenue in Pilsen. The current plans comprise of a total of 37 dwellings. The owner, known as The Resurrection Project and filed under the name Casa Durango LP, received approval in 2019 to convert the zoning designation from B3-2 Community Shopping District to B2-3 Neighborhood Mixed-Use District.
This week, Skender and Sterling Bay held a groundbreaking ceremony for 345 N Morgan Street, a new 11-story mixed-use building in West Loop‘s Fulton Market district. Sterling Bay is the developer behind the boutique 200,000-square-foot project, which will yield both ground-level retail and offices on the upper floors. Prior to construction, the site has been occupied by an empty lot, which Sterling Bay acquired in 2014.

The Chicago City Council has approved $2.5 million in Tax Incremental Financing money for a mixed-use development located at 3557 W Lawrence Avenue in Albany Park. Located on the intersection of W Lawrence Avenue and N Central Park Avenue, the corner site is currently an unused vacant lot. Celadon Holdings is the developer behind the proposal.
