Move-Ins Underway Alongside Resident Move-Ins at Structured Development’s Wendelin Park

Wendelin Park, previously known as The Shops at Big Deahl, is now partially open to residents. This $250 million, mixed-use Clybourn Corridor project, managed by Structured Development, is adding three residential buildings to the area: Post Chicago, The Seng, and the soon-to-be-completed Foundry. These buildings, alongside a new 26,000-square-foot public park and public art installations, follow the 2021 completion of Movement Lincoln Park, the first stage of the masterplan and the tallest climbing gym in the city.

Located on the corner with N Halsted Street at the entrance of the neighborhood, the multi-plot site currently sits vacant as its previous commercial buildings were demolished for earlier iterations of the project. Now the development team of Ascend Real Estate and Intercontinental Real Estate Group have returned with a redesigned structure by GREC Architects.

Financing Secured For Redevelopment Of Ludlow Building In Lincoln Park

Financing has been secured to complete the build out of the mixed-use redevelopment at 2032 N Clybourn Avenue in Lincoln Park. Located adjacent to future phases of Lincoln Yards which recently announced its next set of construction dates, the proposal will rehabilitate the existing Ludlow Typograph Building which was recently landmarked as well. Developer Annexation LLC purchased the structure for $15 million in 2021 and has been working with GREC Architects on its renovation.
