Plans have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 1610 N LaSalle Drive in Old Town. Located on the intersection with W North Avenue, the multi-site project was originally announced in 2021 centered around the Moody Church Auditorium. Chicago-based developer Fern Hill is behind the proposal, however it will appear the team from David Adjaye is no longer involved in the design with GREC Architects taking over.

Located on the corner with N Halsted Street at the eastern edge of the neighborhood, the project is the latest iteration of proposals for the site that previously held a few commercial buildings. Developers Ascend Real Estate and Intercontinental Real Estate Group are working with GREC Architects on the current design.

Construction for a new mixed-use development at 1043 N Rush Street in Near North Side is now above grade. The two-story project, led by L3 Capital, has enlisted GREC Architects for its design. The exterior will have tan brick cladding, dark metal accents, and arched street-level bays.
Wendelin Park, previously known as The Shops at Big Deahl, is now partially open to residents. This $250 million, mixed-use Clybourn Corridor project, managed by Structured Development, is adding three residential buildings to the area: Post Chicago, The Seng, and the soon-to-be-completed Foundry. These buildings, alongside a new 26,000-square-foot public park and public art installations, follow the 2021 completion of Movement Lincoln Park, the first stage of the masterplan and the tallest climbing gym in the city.
