The Seng, a condominium development in the Near North Side’s Clybourn Corridor, recently reported contracts for over half of its 34 below-market-rate units. It is one of three buildings in the Wendelin Park master plan by Structured Development. Designed by GREC Architects, the building features a textured gray facade complemented by red metal accents.

Led by Structured Development and White Oak Realty Partners, the development features three buildings centered around the recently inaugurated Wendelin Park, the namesake of the broader master plan formerly known as “The Shops at Big Deahl.”
This past week, Chicago YIMBY toured Foundry at Wendelin Park, a 27-story mixed-use tower at 1475 North Kingsbury Street in Near North Side. Undertaken by Structured Development alongside White Oak Realty Partners, the project encompasses a set of three buildings positioned around the newly opened Wendelin Park, also the namesake of the masterplan (formerly “The Shops at Big Deahl”).
Wendelin Park, previously known as The Shops at Big Deahl, is now partially open to residents. This $250 million, mixed-use Clybourn Corridor project, managed by Structured Development, is adding three residential buildings to the area: Post Chicago, The Seng, and the soon-to-be-completed Foundry. These buildings, alongside a new 26,000-square-foot public park and public art installations, follow the 2021 completion of Movement Lincoln Park, the first stage of the masterplan and the tallest climbing gym in the city.
