1237 W Division Street Begins Facade Work in West Town

Structural work has reached completion at the industrial development site at 1237 W Division Street in West Town. Developed by Logistics Property Company and designed by Ware Malcomb, the project is set to become Chicago’s first Class A, multi-story logistics facility close to downtown. Occupying what was formerly an empty lot and a Peoples Gas facility, the site is adjacent to N Elston Avenue and bordered by Metra UP-N and NW railway tracks.

Salesforce Tower Chicago, a 60-story office skyscraper at 333 W Wolf Point Plaza in River North, is making final landscaping touches around its 850-foot-tall structure. This development marks the final stage of the Wolf Point masterplan directed by Hines in partnership with the Joseph P. Kennedy Family.

Ceiling mural artwork designed by Emmy Star Brown (@emmystarbrown) has been spotted along the underside of The Dylan, a 30-story mixed-use tower at 160 N Morgan Street in Fulton Market. The project, a collaboration between Sterling Bay and Ascentris, topped out at its 350-foot height earlier this year. The plan is for 282 rental apartments above a 2,657 square-foot retail space.

Park Boulevard’s Phase 3B is nearing completion as facade work wraps up and final landscaping work kicks off. This two-building project, located at 41 W 36th Street and 42 W 37th Street in Bronzeville, is part of a broader residential plan to replace the former Stateway Gardens housing projects of the Chicago Housing Authority. Led by Stateway Associates LLC, the initiative is set to produce 1,316 total units, occupying both townhomes and apartments.

This past week, YIMBY captured the the tower crane disassembly at 160 N Morgan Street, a 30-story mixed-use tower nearing completion in Fulton Market District. Facade Restoration and New Stair Towers Progress at Lawson House in Near North Side

Exterior work continues to progress on the Victor F. Lawson House, a historic 24-story building at 30 W Chicago Avenue in the Near North Side. Originally designed by Perkins, Chatten & Hammond and completed in 1931, the former YMCA will be transformed by developer Holsten Real Estate into 408 affordable studio apartments. Since the last article on the project, structural work for the new fire egress and elevator towers has taken shape, while windows and facade restorations continue.

The 60-story Salesforce Tower is now receiving its finishing touches at 333 W Wolf Point Plaza in River North. The mixed-use, primarily office tower is a collaboration between Hines and longtime landowner, the Joseph P. Kennedy Family, marking the completion of the three-tower Wolf Point masterplan. With its 850-foot stature, the tower makes a bold statement on the northwest corner of Chicago’s skyline, and is prominently visible when approaching from the northwest along the Kennedy Expressway.

Permits Issued for Misericordia Home Expansion in West Ridge

Multiple construction permits have been issued for an expansion of an existing intermediate care facility known as Misericordia Home in West Ridge. The expansion project, which has been dubbed “Sister Rosemary Park,” will serve those with developmental disabilities, comprising of 16 detached homes, each two stories in height.
