Branded as “One Six Six” and developed by Greystar, the high rise will yield 224 apartments atop ground-level retail space.
In a dramatically busy week, another residential tower has been proposed for 1234 W Randolph Street in Fulton Market. The joint venture behind these plans, comprised of Azur Holdings and Golub, have filed a zoning application calling for a 42-story tower with 400 apartment residences, of which 80 will be affordable under ARO guidelines.
A foundation permit has been issued for the 33-story mixed-use 344 N Canal Street in Fulton River District. Formerly the site of the five-story Cassidy Tire building, the new 375-foot-tall structure by The Habitat Company and Diversified Real Estate Capital LLC will provide a total of 343 apartments atop ground-floor retail.
Structural work has reached the 16th floor of a 21-story mixed-use building at 166 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market District. Developed by Greystar, the 241-foot high rise will be primarily apartments atop ground-level retail space. The current construction marks the second phase of a two-part scheme, whose first installment is the 11-story mixed-use building directly across Aberdeen Street.
Just west of the confluence of the Chicago River, demolition is now in full swing for the former Cassidy Tire building in Fulton River District. This five-story brick structure at 344 N Canal Street will give rise to a 33-story mixed-use tower developed by The Habitat Company in partnership with Diversified Real Estate Capital LLC. Plans call for ground-level retail and 343 apartment rental units above.
