Demolition permits have been issued for a one-story masonry building located at 812 W Adams Street in the Near West Side neighborhood. The permit owners have been listed as Rogers Park Holdings LLC and the building is being demolished to make way for an upcoming mixed-use development. The site will include the demolition of several other existing structures to allow for full development headed by Luxe Suites Chicago LLC.
A demolition permit was issued last week for a one-story masonry residence, along with a two-story frame coach house located at 1917 N Orchard Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The permit’s owner has been listed as Savane Properties, Inc. As of now, no plans appear to have been submitted to upgrade any of the zoning designations for this property and there is currently no information on any future constructions at the site.
A demolition permit has been issued for a two-story, multi-unit masonry building along with a detached frame garage located at 3854 N Claremont Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The permit’s owners have been listed as 3854 N Claremont LLC. At the time of publication, a permit has been issued for a new two-story residential construction. Plans also indicate the presence of a detached two-car garage and a planned rooftop deck.
Move-ins have kicked off for 12 four-story townhomes, located at 1648 W Division Street in Wicker Park. Planned by Vermillion Development, the new construction represents the second phase and final phase of a broader development known as Alcove Wicker Park. The project represents Wicker Park’s largest new townhome and condominium development in 15 years.
Demolition is now complete at the future site of Madison + Carpenter, a planned six-story development to be located at 6 N Carpenter Street in West Loop. ZSD is the developer of the mixed-use building, which will yield ground-level retail and 13 condominiums on its upper five floors. The site was previously occupied by four low-rise commercial buildings.
