A zoning application has been filed for a mixed-use development at 3955 N Kilpatrick Avenue in Old Irving Park. This project, under the development of GW Properties and designed by Pappageorge Haymes, marks a shift from a previous all-retail proposal. Set to occupy large vacant lot formerly used by People’s Gas, the five-building complex would be a significant addition to the recent surge of new units and retail within the Six Corners area. The construction would follow other major projects in the vicinity such as the 206-unit 6 Corners Lofts and the 258-unit senior living development known as Clarendale Six Corners.

The Saint Grand, ranked as the 12th project in our yearly countdown of the tallest construction projects, is nearing the completion of its facade construction at 218 E Grand Avenue in Streeterville. This 21-story mixed-use building is a collaboration between Mavrek Development, GW Properties, Luxury Living, and Double Eagle Development, offering 248 residential units, 45,000 square feet of office space, and 7,500 square feet for retail purposes. NORR designed the 238-foot structure, characterized by its modern facade of dark metal and glass and distinctive columns of protruding glass balconies.

Plans have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 3955 N Kilpatrick Avenue in Old Irving Park. Located on the southeast corner with W Irving Park Road, the project will replace a massive vacant lot currently used as a parking lot near the Metra tracks. Developer GW Properties is working with local firm Pappageorge Haymes on the multi-building project which is an update from an earlier plan.

Renderings have been revealed for the potential hotel development at 850 W Washington Boulevard in the West Loop. Located on the northeast corner with N Peoria Street just a few steps south of Randolph Street, the proposal would replace a one-story commercial building and surface parking lot. The site was recently acquired by a team made up of Mavrek Development and GW Properties who are working with Freedes Studio on the renderings.
