What was previously proposed as a 16-story office building at 400 N Elizabeth Street is now repositioning to a pair of proposed apartment buildings at the northwest corner of Fulton Market. Developed by Mark Goodman & Associates, the two towers will have a combined total of 724 residences.
In collaboration with bKL Architecture, Loukas Development has unveiled a renewed design for the proposed skyscraper at 1300 W Lake Street. The mixed-use structure, a 46-story tower planned for the western portion of Fulton Market, will now stand 537 feet, slightly taller than the original 530-foot proposal.
Updated details have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 357 N Green Street in the West Loop. Sandwiched between Green Street to the west and N Halsted Street to the east, the project tackles a unique site which is traversed by the Kennedy Expressway on the northeast corner. Recently Canadian-based developer Onni Group presented slightly revised plans at a community meeting for the SCB-designed tower with Confluence working on its landscape design.
The Committee on Design is currently in the process of reviewing a new mixed-use development at 1300 W Lake Street, situated at the intersection of W Lake Street and N Elizabeth Street in Fulton Market. The proposed 46-story tower will be designed by bKL Architecture, and rise to a height of 530 feet.
Plans have been revealed for a new mixed-use development at 1300 W Lake Street in the West Loop. Located on the northwest corner with W Lake Street the proposal continues to grow the neighborhood’s skyline west and will replace an existing two-story commercial building and its adjoining parking lot. Developer Loukas Development is working with local design firms bKL Architecture, Confluence, and DLA Piper on the new high-rise to be presented in front of the Committee on Design next Wednesday.
