Plans Revealed For Affordable Development In Humboldt Park

Plans have been revealed for a mixed-use development at 3305 W Division Street in Humboldt Park. Located on the southwest corner with N Spaulding Avenue, the new project will replace a two-story structure that most recently held a Spanish church with a small parking lot. The proposal is being led by LUCHA and Full Circle Communities, with local architecture firm DesignBridge working on its design.

1257 W Roosevelt Road Continues to Rise in Little Italy

Construction at 1257 W Roosevelt Road in Little Italy has now reached its fourth floor, with Related Midwest and the Chicago Housing Authority overseeing the development. The six-story mixed-use structure is part of the broader Roosevelt Square Phase 3B project, which includes three other buildings. This project offers a combination of homes, shops, and the soon-to-open National Museum of Public Housing. Once finished, Roosevelt Square will have 2,441 housing units for both single and multi-family living.

City Council Approves Affordable Housing Development In Lower West Side

The Chicago City Council has approved the affordable housing development at 2136 S Ashland Avenue in the Lower West Side. Sitting north of the intersection with W Cermak Road across the street from Benito Juarez High School, the proposal will replace a long-time vacant lot. ‘Casa Yucatan’ is being developed by The Resurrection Project with local-architecture firm DesignBridge providing the design.

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the affordable housing development at 2136 S Ashland Avenue in the Lower West Side. Located just north of the intersection with W Cermak Road, we first covered the proposal in January which will be replacing a vacant lot across the street from Benito Juarez High School. Dubbed ‘Casa Yucatan’, the structure is being developed by The Resurrection Project who are working with local architecture firm DesignBridge on it.
