The residential development at 3914 North Lincoln Avenue has reached its ultimate height, as crews work on framing the set-back fifth and final floor of the North Center apartment project. Developer and general contractor Longford Design + Construction is delivering 68 rental units at this location, supported by ground-floor retail and 28 parking spaces. A significant amount of the brickwork has been completed; the next milestone should be installation of the first few windows on the exterior.

Construction progress has risen to the second level for a new residential development at 3914 N Lincoln Avenue in North Center. The five-story, 68-unit apartment building from developer and general contractor Longford Construction received its foundation permit on August 18 of last year, followed by the full building permit on November 1, 2023.

Foundation work continues for a new mixed-use building at 3914 N Lincoln Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The project, situated on a 25,000-square-foot trapezoidal lot, will result in a five-story structure encompassing 97,773 square feet and include 68 residential units. Longford Construction is responsible for the development, with architectural design by SPACE Architects + Planners.

Excavation and initial foundation work is now underway for a mixed-use development at 3914 N Lincoln Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. Located on a 25,000 square-foot trapezoidal lot, the planned five-story building will span a total of 97,773 square feet and yield 68 residential units. Longford Construction is the developer while SPACE Architects + Planners is the architect. The 61-foot design is clad in limestone along the ground floor, red brick along the second to fourth floors, and dark metal paneling along the top floor. The top level is also set back from the street to allow for private outdoor terraces.

This project is a segment of the larger 3914 N Lincoln Avenue development, managed by 3914 N Lincoln LLC. The entity is also pursuing a rezoning application for the entire 3914-3930 N Lincoln Avenue site.

Occupying a trapezoidal lot between N Damen Avenue to the west and N Lincoln Avenue to the east, the project is set to replace an empty lot along with various existing structures. The 24,554-square-foot property will host a five-story, 97,773-square-foot building with 68 residential units. Longford Construction leads the project, with SPACE Architects + Planners behind the 61-foot-tall design.
