3914 N Lincoln Avenue Receives First Construction Permit in North Center

The initial foundation permit has been issued for a mixed-use development at 3914 N Lincoln Avenue in North Center. Occupying a trapezoidal lot between N Damen Avenue to the west and N Lincoln Avenue to the east, the project is set to replace an empty lot along with various existing structures. The 24,554-square-foot property will host a five-story, 97,773-square-foot building with 68 residential units. Longford Construction leads the project, with SPACE Architects + Planners behind the 61-foot-tall design.

The wedge-shaped structure, bound by N Lincoln Avenue to the east and N Damen Avenue to the west, will replace an empty lot and three buildings on Damen Avenue, one of which is orange-rated.
