A renovation permit was issued on June 3rd to add a pair of dwelling units to the residential building at 616 West Patterson Avenue in Lake View. The three-story building currently contains six units, with the two new units designated for the garden level. The permit application was filed on December 26th of last year, and was issued June 3rd with a reported construction cost of $50,000.
Additional renderings have been revealed for the upcoming mixed-use development at 925 West Belmont Avenue in Lake View. Located just steps from the CTA Belmont station, the proposal will replace a pair of two-story structures that have housed many legacy businesses, which have been slowly closing ahead of demolition.
Site prep is underway for a four-story, nine-unit residential building at 5340 North Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Square. The entity of 5338 N Lincoln LLC is the recipient of the permit, having submitted its application on April 24 of last year. It came through on June 24 of this year with a reported construction cost of just under $1.75 million.
The Chicago City Council has approved funding for the first residential phase of LeClaire Courts in Garfield Ridge. Located at 4458 South Cicero Avenue, the project has been in development for several years and has already received prior approval from the city. The effort is being led by The Habitat Company in partnership with Cabrera Capital.
