Cladding Nears Completion for The Row in Fulton Market

Facade work is in the final stretch for a new 43-story mixed-use tower known as “The Row,” now officially addressed as 164 N Peoria Street in Fulton Market. Developed by Related Midwest, the 495-foot-tall edifice is the West Loop’s second-ever skyscraper (above 150 meters / 492 feet in height), with the first being 727 W Madison Street, built in 2018. The $200 million project will feature 300 residential units, of which 60 will be affordable, and a 146-vehicle garage embedded within the podium.

Facade pieces can be seen nearing the top of “The Row”, a new 43-story mixed-use tower located at 900 W Randolph Street in Fulton Market. Developed by Related Midwest, the 495-foot edifice is West Loop’s second-ever skyscraper (above 150 meters in height), with the first being 727 W Madison Street, built in 2018. 900 Randolph Street Tops Out in Fulton Market District

The 43-story mixed-use tower at 900 Randolph Street has officially reached its full height, making it the second tallest building in West Loop. Related Midwest has planned for two levels of retail and 300 rental units within this 495-foot-tall tower.

Facade pieces can now be seen along 900 Randolph Street in West Loop’s Fulton Market District. The 43-story mixed-use tower is being developed by Related Midwest, who has planned an even taller development just one block southeast at 725 W Randolph Street. Given its height of 495 feet, the skyscraper will be the second tallest building west of the Kennedy Expressway.

Upon its completion in 2024, the skyscraper will be the second tallest in the broader West Loop district at a height of 495 feet, with 727 W Madison surpassing it by just a foot. This past week, the tower crane has been erected for a new 43-story mixed-use development in West Loop’s Fulton Market District. Planned by Related Midwest and dubbed “900 Randolph,” this 495-foot-tall tower will offer a combination of ground-level retail and 300 apartment units on the above floors. While marketing materials both on-site and on the developer’s website have listed 900 W Randolph Street as the address, a tip to YIMBY indicated that the project would eventually be switched back to its official address, 164 N Peoria Street.

Caisson and other foundation work continues for the 43-story 906 W Randolph Street, which will dramatically alter Fulton Market District‘s skyline when complete. Set to stand 495 feet in West Loop, the new edifice has been planned by Tucker Development alongside Related Midwest.

With demolition wrapped up and site prep underway, construction permits have now been issued for a 43-story mixed-use skyscraper at 906 W Randolph Street, located in West Loop‘s Fulton Market District. Co-developed by Tucker Development and Related Midwest, construction for the new edifice has been listed under the address 164 N Peoria Street. The development will provide both ground-level retail and 300 apartments on the upper floors, of which 20 percent will be affordable under the Affordable Requirements Ordinance. The developers will also contribute nearly $5 million to the neighborhood opportunity fund, which supports various infrastructure and commercial projects in Chicago’s west and south-side neighborhoods.
