Exterior work has completed for a new six-story mixed-use building residing at 61 W Erie Street in River North. Having been planned by LG Development Group, the scope of the project involves ground-level retail and 28 condominium units above.
Final rooftop work is approaching the finish line for LG Development Group‘s 61 W Erie Street, a six-story mixed-use retail and condominium development near the northeast corner of River North.
Construction permits have been issued for the second of two buildings within LG Development‘s HUGO masterplan. This second mixed-use building is located at the eastern end of the property at 411 W Chicago Avenue, and will house ground-level retail, 93 apartments, as well as various amenity spaces. These building-specific amenities include a large landscaped sun deck with lounge chairs, an outdoor kitchen with grilling stations, and a 10th-floor amenity deck with east-facing views.
The Chicago City Council has approved the mixed-use development proposal at 1150 W Lake Street in the West Loop. Flanking W Lake Street, the project scope includes two properties. The southern property is L-shaped, bound by W Lake Street, N May Street, W Randolph Street, and N Racine Avenue, with two buildings at the corner of W Randolph Street and N Racine Avenue not included in this parcel. The northern lot is bound by W Lake Street, N May Street, N Racine Avenue, and a public alley. Formerly the site of Amylu Foods, the new construction will demolish existing buildings on the southern portion and replace the vacant lot within the northern portion. LG Development Group is the developer behind the proposal.
