Construction Begins for 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market

The ever-growing Fulton Market district is now seeing another new addition, as construction has begun for a 19-story mixed-use building at 210 N Aberdeen Street. The 214-foot-tall structure, planned by LG Development Group, will sit on an L-shaped site and include 10,700 square feet of retail space and 363 apartment units. The scope and design have changed slightly prior to construction, having reduced the total units from 414 and the height from 239 feet.

Caisson Permit Issued for 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market

A caisson permit has been issued for a new 19-story mixed-use building at 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market. The 239-foot-tall structure has been planned by LG Development Group, and will sit on an L-shaped site. Having required a zoning change from C1-1, Neighborhood Commercial District, to DX-7, Downtown Mixed-Use District, the scheme calls for 10,700 square feet of retail, above which will be 414 apartment units.

Demolition Begins for 1150 W Lake Street in Fulton Market

Demolition has begun for 1150 W Lake Street in Fulton Market District, where LG Development Group has planned for a major mixed-use development. Straddling the elevated CTA’s elevated tracks, the two-tower scheme includes an 18-story building at the northern end replacing, as well as a 29-story building the southern end. The shorter edifice will be replacing a formerly vacant lot, while the taller tower will replace multiple single-story masonry buildings that are now being removed.

Demo Permits Issued for 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market District

Demolition permits have been approved for an L-shaped parcel at 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market, giving way to a new 19-story mixed-use building. LG Development Group has planned for 414 apartment units atop 10,500 square feet of retail. Currently, the site is occupied by a series of low-rise brick buildings. One of these structures, the historic Arthur Harris Building, will only be partially demolished then integrated into the new design.

LG Development’s “HUGO” Gets Ready to Rise in River North

Foundation work is progressing on HUGO, LG Development‘s two-building development located at 751 N Hudson Avenue and 411 W Chicago Avenue in River North. The two nine-story buildings will be nearly adjacent to one another, separated by an existing low-rise masonry building. Combined, the mixed-use edifices will span 230,000 square feet, occupied by 19,000 square feet of mercantile space and 227 apartments.
