Located just south of the intersection with W Glenlake Avenue, the project will replace a surface parking lot just east of the CTA tracks that run over its rear alley. Developer North Park Ventures is behind the upcoming building designed by local firm Kennedy Mann.

A demolition permit was issued last week for the removal of a two-story frame residence, located at 6114 N Paulina Street in Edgewater. The owner of the permit is listed as Paulina View LLC.
Updated plans have been revealed for the affordable residential development at 5853 N Broadway in Edgewater. Located south of the intersection with W Thorndale Avenue and adjacent to the Broadway Armory Community Center, the new structure will replace a one-story building and its parking lot with much needed vertical density. We last covered the project in April of last year as its initial design was released, now an updated design has been made public of the proposal by Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation, with Landon Bone Baker Architects working on the new aesthetic.
Demolition permits have been issued to remove a masonry building located at 1334 W Rosedale Avenue in Edgewater. MK Construction & Builders Inc is listed as the permit owner. Plans have been submitted for a new construction, three-flat construction with a basement. Although renderings have not been made public, we know there will be a three-vehicle masonry garage at the rear of the building.
