Plan Commission Approves Roastery And Brewpub In Pullman

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the commercial development at 756 E 111th Street in Pullman. Located on the corner with S Ellis Avenue just east of the Pullman National Historical Park, the new structure will replace a vacant lot surrounded by other new businesses like Culvers and Potbelly as well. Developer Cup O’ Joe Coffee LLC is working with Edafos Studio on the two-story structure which has seen some revisions since announced last year.

Updated Details Revealed For McKinley Park RFP

Further details and renderings have been revealed for the finalist of the Central Manufacturing District RFP. Located at 1769 W Pershing Road in McKinley Park just west of the intersection with S Ashland Avenue, we last covered the project in January as the city narrowed it down to three finalists with mixed-use proposals featuring everything from housing to movie studios on the multi-site lot. The Chicago Department of Planning and Development is leading the selection process with the bids being presented earlier this week at a community meeting.

Plan Commission Approves Solar Panel Clad 415 N Sangamon Street In The West Loop

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 415 N Sangamon Street in the West Loop. Located on the northeast corner of the intersection with W Kinzie Street the project will break the mold of green-design with an innovative facade. Renderings were revealed earlier this year at a local community meeting, now developer Fortem Voluntas Partners is moving forward with the proposal designed by local firm Eckenhoff Saunders as it begins to gather momentum.
