Construction Tops Off on Cirrus and Cascade at Lakeshore East

Construction has topped off on Cirrus and Cascade, a pair of residential towers located in Lakeshore East. Officially addressed at 211 N Harbor Drive and 455 E Waterside Drive, respectively, Cirrus and Cascade are part of the larger Lakeshore East development within the Parcels IJKL. The site sits between N Harbor Drive and Lake Shore Drive, just south of the multi-level Wacker Drive. The towers are being developed by Lendlease and Magellan Development Group, with bKL Architecture in charge of the design.

Lakeshore East Parcel I Tower Takes 4th Spot in Chicago’s Tallest Developments Countdown

The approved Parcel I tower, located within the Lakeshore East development, takes the fourth spot in YIMBY’s Chicago’s tallest developments countdown. Located within the IJKL site, the tower will be located on the northern edge of the parcel, at the corner of E Wacker Drive and N Lake Shore Drive. Lendlease and Magellan Development Group are in charge of the development of Parcel I, in addition to Cirrus and Cascade, the towers at the J and K/L sites.

Renderings Unveiled for The Reed at Southbank, Entire Development Ranks as Chicago’s 11th Tallest Project

Renderings have been revealed for The Reed, the second residential tower at Southbank, as the entire development takes the 11th spot in YIMBY’s Chicago’s tallest developments countdown. Located on a 7.5-acre, waterfront site, Southbank is a megadevelopment that was split off from the original Riverline joint venture development by Lendlease and CMK Companies. The parcel is bound by W Harrison Street, S Wells Street, W Polk Street, and the Chicago River.

Cirrus Nears Topping Out in Lakeshore East, as Chicago’s 12th Tallest Development

Construction is close to topping out for the 562-foot-tall Cirrus in Lakeshore East as Chicago’s 12th tallest development. Exterior Work Complete at Imprint, Chicago’s 26th Tallest New Development

Photos show the completed exterior work for CMK Companies‘ 29-story mixed-use tower known as Imprint Chicago, located at 717 S Clark Street in the Printer’s Row neighborhood. Rising 315 feet high and having opened earlier this fall, the building ranks 26th in YIMBY’s December countdown of the city’s tallest new developments.

Rental Townhomes Completed at Porte Chicago in the West Loop

The townhome residences at Porte Chicago, a two-tower mixed-use development have been completed. Located at 855 W Madison Street in the West Loop, the entire property spans the full block, bound by W Madison Street to the north, W Monroe Street to the south, S Peoria Street to the west, and S Green Street to the east. The project is being led by Lendlease and The John Buck Company in collaboration with Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation.
