Located just east of the intersections with N Claremont Avenue, the project site includes the existing St. Matthias rectory and its adjacent open land bound by N Oakley Avenue to the east. Developer CKG Realty Group now has returned with two updated proposals after locals turned down the previous design due to its size and design.

New renderings and details have emerged for 3950-3959 N Damen Avenue in North Center, where developers Orchard Development Group and Ravine Park Partners are planning a mixed-use development spanning two blocks. As proposed, the complex would provide a mix of new apartments with affordable options (20 percent of the units for those making up to 60 percent AMI), retail space, and a 3,000-square-foot public plaza.

A new permit was issued last week for the construction of a new three-story residential construction located at 1942 W Belmont Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The permit’s owners have been listed as Sustainabuild LLC and the plans state that this building will include six units and a basement. The building will also have a roof deck and rear decks on all levels, as well as a detached six-vehicle garage with its own roof deck.
