The first demolition permit has now been issued for 210 N Morgan Street in Fulton Market. The demolition will give rise to a 33-story mixed-use development by Newcastle Limited. This 380-foot tower will house 204 residential units: 59 studios, 18 convertibles, 72 one-bedroom units, 23 one-bedrooms with a den, and 33 two-bedrooms. Of these units, 41 will be designated as affordable for those earning 60% or below the Area Median Income (AMI).

Newcastle Limited is the developer behind this new 135-foot-tall edifice at 1210 N State Parkway, which is set to offer 18,000 square feet of retail and 89 apartment units on the upper floors.
With windows now in place, face brick installation has begun for Newcastle Limited’s 12-story development known as Gild, located at 1210 N State Parkway. Nodding to the surrounding Gold Coast neighborhood, the mixed-use project will contain 18,000 square feet of ground-level retail, along with 89 apartments situated on the upper 11 floors.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a mixed-use development at 1130 N State Street in the Gold Coast. The project site is located on a corner lot at the intersection of N State Street and W Elm Street. Currently the property is occupied by a shuttered Barnes and Noble store and a surface parking lot. Newcastle Limited is in charge of the development.
