Exterior Work Nears Completion At 3914 North Lincoln In North Center

Exterior completion of the residential project at 3914 North Lincoln Avenue is in sight, as developer and general contractor Longford Design + Construction continues their work in North Center. The project has been topped out for a couple months now, and brick work and glass is mostly in place. Sidewalk canopies have been removed from the construction site, revealing ground-level commercial spaces that look nearly ready for tenants.

The Greenview Collection, a row of three stand-alone, single-family homes spanning 4454-4458 North Greenview Avenue in Uptown, appears very close to being move-in ready. We’ve been following progress here since the former First Spanish Christian Church was demolished in January to clear the site for redevelopment.  Longford Construction is both the developer and general contractor here.  Stoneberg + Gross Architects designed the homes.

Rooftop Level achieved at 3914 North Lincoln Avenue apartment development

The residential development at 3914 North Lincoln Avenue has reached its ultimate height, as crews work on framing the set-back fifth and final floor of the North Center apartment project. Developer and general contractor Longford Design + Construction is delivering 68 rental units at this location, supported by ground-floor retail and 28 parking spaces. A significant amount of the brickwork has been completed; the next milestone should be installation of the first few windows on the exterior.

Construction Wraps Up for 4537 N Clark Street in Sheridan Park

Construction has finalized for a new four-story building at 4537 N Clark Street in Sheridan Park, located near the intersection with W Wilson Street. The project, led by Longford Construction as both the developer and architect, replaces former one-story and two-story retail buildings. Initially proposed in 2017, the plans have undergone several revisions and experienced a change in ownership, prompted by community feedback.

City Council Approves Rezoning For Mixed-Use Development At 3914 N Lincoln Avenue In North Center

The Chicago City Council has approved the rezoning of a mixed-use development at 3914 N Lincoln Avenue in North Center. Located in an oddly shaped lot wedged between N Damen Avenue to the west and N Lincoln Avenue to the east, the project replaces an empty lot and various existing buildings, one of which was orange-rated. The team behind the dense project is Longford Construction with SPACE Architects + Planners as the designers.
