Located on the southwestern most corner of the neighborhood just north of the intersection with N Oakley Avenue, the project will replace a vacant lot bound by CTA tracks in the rear. The team at Peerless Development is behind the proposal and is working with local design firm SPACE Architects + Planners on the low-rise.

Located near the intersection with W Willow Street and the famed 606 trail, the proposal will demolish four-existing multi-story commercial structures that have struggled to maintain tenants, including the former home of Mindy’s Hot Chocolate. The project is being led by Kensington Schools under a new LLC, with an undisclosed architect working on its design.

Located just east of the intersection with N Leavitt Street, the proposal will replace a now vacant lot which once held a century-old workers cottage that was torn down by the previous owner. Now a group of neighbors are hoping to strike a deal with the current developer who is willing to sell for the right plan. While the designer has not been disclosed, the community is moving towards their first community meeting soon.
