Work Wraps Up on Hirsch MPG’s Commercial Building at 1111 W Addison Street in Wrigleyville

Construction is nearing completion for a four-story commercial building, located at 1111 W Addison Street in Lake View‘s Wrigleyville. The project, planned by West Addison Development, is set to contain retail on the ground floor with a climbing and bouldering center above. A separate permit indicated that the developer will build out six climbing walls within the second through fourth floors.

Construction Begins on 949 W Dakin Street in East Lakeview

Construction has begun on a seven-story mixed-use building at 949 W. Dakin Street in Chicago‘s East Lakeview neighborhood. Located across the street from the Sheridan Red Line station and two and a half blocks north of Wrigley Field, the transit-oriented development replaces a single-story structure. Current tenant Ace Hardware is expected to fill a portion of the 13,000 square feet of retail space that will be located on the lower level of the new edifice. The property and financial services firm Draper and Kramer is the developer of the 120-unit project.

Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 1111 W Addison Street in Wrigleyville, at the busy intersection of W Addison Street and N Clark Street, just across from Wrigley Field’s home plate corner. The lot sits just west of the Addison CTA L station serviced by the red line and purple express line. The 22 and 152 CTA bus lines also stop at the Addison and Clark intersection. The permit lists 1111 W Addison Development, LLC as the site’s owner.
