The basement is in, and progress has moved to the first floor, on a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 2435 North Clybourn Avenue in Lincoln Park. Developer/general contractor PFH Homes LLC of Lincoln Square received a permit to begin construction on October 28 of last year, having submitted their application in July. The permit shows an estimated construction cost of $2.95 million.
A pair of three-story, three-unit buildings are at opposite ends of their development at 2469 and 2471 North Clybourn Avenue in Lincoln Park. Urbanscape Development LLC is erecting the two buildings, based on designs by architect of record Angelica Borromeo. We stopped by on a snowy morning last week to check on their progress.
Half of the Fullerton Pointe residential development in Lincoln Park is starting to show, as 519 West Fullerton Parkway rises out of its foundation. Located on the site of the former Cenacle Retreat Center, demolished in 2022 for redevelopment, P3 Properties in erecting a pair of four-story, eight-unit condominium buildings, the first of which, 519, was permitted back in November.
Structural steel that’s bringing a second life to the former Second Church Of Christ, Scientist in Lincoln Park has topped out. At 2700 North Pine Grove Avenue, Ogden Partners is mixing the new into the old, constructing a six-story building within three salvaged façade walls of the 1901-built Beaux-Arts church.
Cinder-block walls outline the new condominium development at 1313 West Wrightwood Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The project from Drimnagh Development received a construction permit on October 25 of last year. They’re doing the general contractor work themselves, using plans drawn up by 360 Design Studio.
