Located west of N Clybourn Avenue and across the river from Lincoln Yards, the proposal will replace a one-story commercial building near the recently announced 2033 N Kingsbury Avenue. Developer Sterling Bay is working with local-firm SCB on its design, adding to all of their other surrounding projects.
A new construction permit has been approved for a residential development at 2119 N Racine Avenue in Lincoln Park. Replacing a single-story gabled residence, the project will make way for a three-story masonry building with two dwelling units. There will be a basement level and a first-floor duplex, while other features will include a roof deck and iron fence.

The prominent Chicago-area health system plans to replace a Barnes & Noble with the new 41,000-square-foot outpatient facility in the 1435-71 W Webster Avenue complex.
Plans have been announced for the renovation and expansion of the current athletic facilities within the DePaul University Campus in Lincoln Park. Located at 2300 N Sheffield Avenue just north of the intersection with W Belden Avenue, the work comes after an 18-month period of internal and community discussions according to the university’s press release. Both phases of work are being designed by Antunovich Associates and HNTB.
