Construction for Fulton Market‘s 1020 W Randolph Street is currently wrapping up its foundation phase and is approaching vertical construction. At 22,000 square feet, this five-story building is coincidentally the same floor area as the new Wrigley Field addition that was covered this past Sunday.
With all structural work complete and much of the facade now in place, the seven-story parking and retail structure at 1371 W Randolph Street is now approaching completion. Rising 85 feet, this West Loop project is the latest addition to the Chicago Journeyman Plumbers Local 130 UA Campus, developed in partnership between the union and Chicago Title & Trust Company.
Foundation work is progressing for the University of Illinois Chicago’s new computer science building, set to rise five stories at 900 W Taylor Street in Little Italy. Known as the Computer Design Research and Learning Center, this five-story structure will attach to UIC’s existing Science and Engineering Labs building while adding 135,000 square feet of new programming.

At 22,000 square feet, this boutique retail and office edifice will accompany the recent wave of office developments popping up in the West Loop neighborhood.
Recent photos show structural work now rising above grade for University of Illinois Chicago‘s planned five-story computer science wing, known as the Computer Design Research And Learning Center. With work having commenced this past summer, the structure is set to replace a former parking lot at Little Italy‘s 900 W Taylor Street. This curvy addition will attach directly to the existing UIC Science and Engineering Labs building, while offering more than 135,00 square of new programming.
